Over the last couple of years, we’ve been working to revive our 20-year-old deck boat after it sat for five years in our driveway. We found a shop that made some real progress on the engine, but the boat still wasn’t performing well. We connected with Jose just 10 days before our annual week-long trip to the lake. Jose moved quickly to look at the whole boat, not just the engine. He spotted things our prior mechanic had missed and got the boat back to us in just a few days. I am the Head Coach of the men's competitive rowing team at USC (ie USC Men's Crew). We train out of facility in the Port of LA. I took one of our coaching launches over to Jose and his team as it needed a lot of work. In just four days they: Cleaned a completely fouled up bottom, fixed a few holes, painted it, repaired the hydraulic motor tilt, cleaned the carburetor, replaced the water pump impeller and fixed the electronics. All on budget. An outstanding job in record time. California Boat Services will have all of our business going forward.

Jose saved the day!!! Our boat wouldn't start on Saturday when we had family and friends in town for the weekend. I figured there would be no boating for the weekend, but my wife took a chance and called this company. Jose drove from LA to Long Beach almost immediately. I had an excellent experience with California Boat Services.José was very knowledgeable and did not have the attitude that most other boat repair places seem to have. They did a great job fixing my boat and got it done in a timely manner.But the cherry on top of the cake was they also actually cleaned my grimey boat. Took my boat here a couple weeks ago to have my new motor installed properly and get it all rigged up and ready to go. Jose was very helpful and informative and always made sure I was in the loop on what was happening. He got me up and running in a couple weeks. He’s the best.
